Audrey was married to my cousin Don, but I feel as if she was my own cousin as well as friend. We exchanged texts quite often since I live in Hemingway, and she was in Greenville, my hometown. She sent me funny stories or pictures (especially animals) she had found on Facebook. We enjoyed text chatting about births, marriages, and deaths in the family. Or we just talked about the weather. She sent me a nature calendar at the end of each year. Audrey never lost her sense of humor. One of her recent texts showed a bathroom sink full of cats with the caption “Meet the new boyband IN SYNC.” I will miss her.

Sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. Our friendship goes back many years and remained even though we did not see each other in person very often. I will always remember the good times we shared in Greenville. This is goodbye down here but through the Grace of God we will meet again. Love ya girl.Jeff and James Thames
