William M West "Bill", 79 passed away peacefully after a long illness on November 27, 2019. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather to many. A former Navy veteran who loved fishing.
He is survived by his Loving wife Gladys West of 40 years; sons, Brian West of Piedmont, SC, Larry Perkins of Pelzer, SC, Tommy Perkins of Oklahoma and daughter Valerie West of Durham, NC; sisters Pat Beverly of Durham NC, Alta Wood and husband David of Creedmoor NC; grandkids Mike, Thomas, Neil and Constance and several great-grandkids.
Predeceased by father W.R.West of Mars Hill NC, mother Marie West of Durham NC, brothers Bobby, Jerry, Ronnie and sister Marie.
Service will be Friday, November 29, at 1:30 pm Bessie Road Baptist Church, 575 Bessie Road, Piedmont, SC 29673, burial following at Greenville Memorial Gardens at 7784 Augusta Rd. Piedmont, SC. In lieu of flowers donations made to the church.
