Obituary for William Daniels
William Darrell Daniels was born April 26, 1955 in Morenci, Arizona and passed away June 11, 2019 in his home in Piedmont, South Carolina in the presence of family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Damon Daniels.
He survived by his wife, Debra; children, Jesse, William, Thomas, and Elizabeth; his loving mother, JoAnn Daniels; sister, Dawn; brother, Damon; and his 9 grandchildren.
Darrell grew up in Morenci, Arizona, where he enlisted in the US Navy in 1982 and served as a decorated P-3 Avionics Technician for 9 years. Upon retiring as a Naval Petty Officer, First Class, Darrell continued his career at Lockheed Martin in Tucson, AZ. In 1995, Darrell and his family transferred to South Carolina where he worked a s a skilled and respected member of the technical staff at Stevens Aviation until his passing. He was a gifted car mechanic and loved to work in his garage on all things mechanical. Darrell was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed attending the races and watching from home.
Darrell was a devoted father and husband. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
