Wanda Gail Bufkin Cooley, 63, of Piedmont, South Carolina, wife of the late James Cooley, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, I 2019 at her home.
Born in South Carolina, she was the daughter of Shelby Jean Shipman Alexander and Otis Bufkin. She was formerly employed with the Piedmont Emergency Relief Center, in addition to her mother; she is survived by her sons, Byran Cooley and Kevin Cooley of Simpsonville, Tyler Cooley of Piedmont; daughter, Tabitha Frady of Piedmont; bothers, Dean Bufkin of Bilox, MS, Jerry Bufkin of Tampa, FL and Dexter Bufkin of Lucedale, MS; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 14,2019 at Bessie Road Baptist Church, 575 Bessie Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673 from 6:00-6:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held immediately afterwards at Bessie Road Baptist Church, 575 Bessie Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673.
