Obituary for Lila Mae Whitfield (Payne)
Lila Mae Whitfield, 94, of Easley, South Carolina,
passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019.
She is survived by her son, Michael Whitfield (Lori); daughter, Angie Buchanan;
grandchildren, Dusty Elrod, Stacey Crosby, Zac Buchanan (Jordyn); great grandchildren, Azriel Crosby, Gabriel Crosby, and Maddox Buchanan; and sibling, Lucille Darnell.
Lila is preceded in death by her husband the late George W. Whitfield;
siblings, Charlie Payne, Bill Payne, Louise Pearson, and Inez Davis, and parents, Donald and Florence Payne.
Lila graduated from Parker High School and retired from Woodside Mill.
Lila was also a member of Welcome Baptist Church.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 at
Palmetto Mortuary

with a graveside service at 1:00 pm at
Graceland Cemetery West
