Obituary for Kristen LeeAnn Loffler (Garcia)
Kristen LeeAnn Loffler, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. The daughter of
Beverly and Octavio Garcia, she was born February 20, 1967.
Kris attended college at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where she studied fashion design. Kris
loved her job as executive assistant for CAMTS, a non-profit medical transport accreditation
organization.
Family and friends were Kris’s passion and delight. She loved spending time with her extended family, or as she called them, “framily,” to socialize, pray and have fun. Kris also loved to volunteer at the Christian Youth Theater of Anderson where she utilized her talent for fashion design to create wonderful costumes and sets to help the kids shine on stage. Kris was a loving wife, mom and grandma. She is survived by her husband, Reiner Loeffler; two daughters, Carissa and Emily; son Josef; and three grandchildren, Bella, Logan and Mason.
The family will have a celebration of life visitation for Kris from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 21, at
the Palmetto Mortuary in Greenville, followed by a memorial service officiated by her uncle, the Rev. Don Richter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, which
