Obituary for John Robert Ramey
John Ramey, 72, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 26th, 2019. He was the son of the late Emery and Lucille Ramey.
He is survived by his children, Stanley Ramey and Tracy Robinson; his adoring granddaughters, Brittney Robinson (Blake Williams) and Jessica Robinson (Charles Banks); and his great granddaughter, Gracie Williams.
John loved passing his time with golf when the weather was nice. He especially enjoyed taking his granddaughters out for a few rounds as he thought it would keep them out of trouble. Good thing for him, the ditch caught the golf cart when one of them took it for a joy ride at the tender age of five. When John had to be inside, he passed his time with Westerns.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Syble Ramey and son, Robert Lee Ramey.
The family will plan a service to be announced at a later date.
