Obituary for Harold Lee Sprague
Harold Lee Sprague (Bud), 84, of Woodruff, passed away on Wednesday, September 11th, 2019. He was the son of the late Harry and Marie Sprague.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen Sprague; son Terry Sprague; daughter Mary Sprague; sisters, Jo McCoy, Shirley Smets(Bill), Janet Larsen; grandchildren Eric Sprague(Lesley), Emily Miller(Jake), Jennifer Mullins(Derek), Jade Van DeBogart(Jeremy); step grandchildren, Makayla Tucker, Erica Robertson(John), Drew Sayer(Whitney); great grandchildren, Callie and Jessica Sprague, Jaxon and Sam Miller, Colin and Elle Mullins, Haruki and Quynhnhi Van DeBogart; step great grandchildren Elizabeth, Isabelle, Elijah, Iris Robertson, Francis and Wren Sawyer, daughters-in-law Rose Sprague, Deb Readshaw, Sandy Franzen, Brenda Solomon and Trisha Sprague.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Larry, Kevin, Randy; other family members, in-laws Bernard and Mary Helmuth, brothers-in-law Joe McCoy, Richard (Dick) Larsen, Larry Helmuth, Bill Helmuth and Bob Helmuth.
Bud enjoyed woodworking, fishing, Cornhusker football and loved the Denver Broncos. He was a past member of the Axtell Village Board and the Axtell Fire Dept.
Place of Internment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Axtell, Nebraska.
Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, September 14, 2019, 2:00 P.M. Cherokee Springs United Methodist Church, 2870 Chesnee Highway, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
