Obituary for Dexter Edward Beason

Dexter (Eddie) Beason, of Greenville, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord on August 11, 2019, at Open Arms Hospice in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Eddie had an extended battle with lung cancer. He was 62.
Eddie was born on December 1, 1956, in Greenville, South Carolina. He attended Wade Hampton High School and was owner of Beason’s Produce, which operated out of the Greenville area.
Eddie was a loving human being. He loved everybody. Eddie enjoyed fishing, playing music, Clemson football, cookouts, but most of all, he loved being with his family, especially at holiday gatherings.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Edward Beason, and mother, Virginia Crain Beason. He is survived by his two daughters, Deidra E. Davis, and her husband, Foster Davis of Greenville, and daughter, Carrie A. Munera, and her husband, SSgt. Alejandro Munera, of Aviano, Italy, and three grandchildren, Marley Davis, Ali Munera, and Ashton Munera. .Also surviving are sister, Dannette Beason Greene, of Taylors, SC, and her two sons, Josh Hightower, and Joey Hightower, both of Myrtle Beach, SC.
A celebration of life service will take place on Monday, August 19, at 4:00 p.m., at Taylors First Baptist Church chapel, located on Main Street, Taylors, South Carolina. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 3:45 pm, before the service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Eddie's life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
