Obituary for Carl Dean Stokes
Carl Dean Stokes, 74, of Greer, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 1st, 2019 He was the son of the late Clifton and Marie Stokes.
He is survived by his wife Mary Evelyn Stokes; son, Russell Dean Stokes; daughters, Shannon Waddell, Tamara Blackwell; grandchildren, Tiffany Ward, Leslie Cesmat, Courtney Richardson, Amber Stokes, Andrew Stokes, Kyleigh Blackwell, Emily Blackwell; great grandchildren, McKinnley, Mallory, Mason, Maxwell, Rhett, Hayley, Oliver and Leo.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Marie Stokes; siblings Paul Stokes, Margaret Campbell.
The family will be having a Memorial Service on Saturday, September, 7th at 2pm. It will be held at Blue Ridge Baptist Church, 3950 Pennington Road, Greer, South Carolina, 29651.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Open Arms Hospice.
